I love Vegemite. I think its slightly bitter, savory flavor pairs so well with toast. To my American friends who don’t like Vegemite, I say: “A little goes a long way!” 

If you don’t like Vegemite, I’d bet you’re using too much. Don’t go overboard with it because a nice thin layer of Vegemite on a piece of toast is hard to beat.

How Do I Stop My Dog If I Catch Him Eating Vegemite?

Out of all the commands that I have taught my dog, two that have been the most important are ‘leave it’ and ‘drop it.’ They come in handy when your dog is being naughty by, say, getting into the Vegemite. 

‘Leave it’ is a command that tells my dogs to not do whatever they are thinking about doing and walk away. This is handy for when they are about to put something in their mouths that they shouldn’t, or if they’re getting too close to another animal.

‘Drop it’ is another helpful command that tells my dogs to release whatever they’re holding in their mouth. This comes in handy if he picks up something dangerous, or if he won’t stop eating something he shouldn’t.

Both commands have been invaluable in helping me to keep my dog safe, and I would recommend teaching them to any other pet owners out there.
